Matt not only knows the business of construction, he is educated and skilled in a number of construction methods, including roofing, carpentry, welding, finishing, and cabinetry. Because he knows first-hand how to do the job, and he knows what it's like to work with owners and multiple tiers of subcontractors, he knows how to bid and manage a job to ensure it's performed within budget, on time, and with the highest quality standards.

Before commencing his career in construction, Matt served in the U.S. Navy as an operations specialist and went through B.U.D/S training to qualify as a Navy SEAL. Matt still strives to implement the same level of commitment and discipline in his professional and personal life. Matt lives in Chattanooga with his wife, 5 children and 2 cats. Matt enjoys reading, working out, traveling and hiking, and has been known to train for the occasional marathon.

Above all, Matt is passionate about his faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ, whom Matt attributes as the sole purpose and source of the many blessings in his life, including his family, career, and life itself. Matt strives more than anything to perform his work and live his life in a way that glorifies God and demonstrates His grace, and he hopes he can be a light to all whom he encounters.
